I have been a SEAHAWK FAN since I was a little girl. I'm talking OLD SCHOOL SEAHAWKS...in the Zorn and Largent days. So, when the SEAHAWKS were in the SUPERBOWL this year, I took advantage of the situation by celebrating the 12th Man Kindergarten Style.
So how does one do this and still hit common core? Easily! We had Seahawk Syllables (reading); Skittle Sorting, Graphing & Adding (math); 12th Man 'Windy City' Windsocks (art); Football Word Find (word work); "I Feel Like a Winner When..." stories (writing) and Skittle Experiments (science).
